Leading Australian technology firm and legal solutions provider, GlobalX Legal Solutions (GlobalX) today signed a landmark agreement with Property Exchange Australia Limited (PEXA) to deliver electronic property transactions to thousands of lawyers and conveyancers in 2015.
The company was the first organisation to sign on as a Sponsor of PEXA with the deal now providing GlobalX’s clients and other practice management providers with a single interface for the new exchange, incorporating all existing product and software solutions.
GlobalX Chief Operating Officer Peter Maloney said he was thrilled to be able to deliver PEXA to GlobalX’s 8,000 plus practitioners who currently utilise the company’s online search, conveyancing and practice management software solutions as well as an additional 8,000 practitioners via our strategic partnerships with LexisNexis, Law Master and CATS.
“Today is a landmark step towards delivering the property conveyancing process into the digital age for thousands of conveyancers and law firms across Australia.
“As Australia’s largest property settlement provider to the practitioner market, we have been preparing and investing significantly in our technology, people and industry partnerships to ensure we have a competitive advantage in delivering PEXA to all our clients and solutions partners.
“We understand our responsibility to prepare the practitioner market and recognise that the future needs of our clients will be best served by organisations like us offering a hybrid of manual and electronic conveyancing services,” he said.
LexisNexis Pacific Executive Manager Practice Management, James Parker, said that LexisNexis are excited to be partnering with GlobalX in being able to provide integration to PEXA and the world of e-conveyancing though our Practice Management solutions.
Mr Maloney said the entire industry was behind PEXA and he was very pleased to have agreements in place to deliver access to PEXA to the broader practitioner market via our strategic partners and their software solutions.
“Integration is vital to the success of PEXA and we have worked incredibly hard to ensure our technology works across multiple and different platforms and software solutions.
“This includes the integration of PEXA into our own online information platform, conveyancing workflow and practice management software – Open Practice to lead the industry into the future.
“We want to ensure that we offer our clients security and assurance that they can continue to manage unprecedented change in the most effective manner,” he said.
