ILTA Winners of 2015 Distinguished Peer Awards Announced

ILTA logoThe International Legal Technology Association (ILTA) held an awards dinner on Tuesday evening, September 1, in conjunction with their annual educational conference, ILTACON 2015, held in Las Vegas. The recipients of the 2015 ILTA Distinguished Peer Awards were announced and celebrated at the event.

This was the sixth year of the annual awards program, and the association was pleased with the number and diversity of nominees across several categories. ILTA’s Distinguished Peer Award program recognizes premiership and provides a forum for peer-nominated, peer-judged innovations in technology and leadership in several categories.

Individual Awards: Individuals from ILTA law firms and law departments are recognized for demonstrating exceptional accomplishments and leadership within their organizations. The 2015 award recipients are:

  • IT Professional - Richard Taylor of WilmerHale
  • Knowledge Management Professional - Susan Woodhouse of Littler Mendelson
  • Litigation Support Professional - Beth Patterson of Allens
  • Technology Advocacy Professional - Tim Golden of McGuireWoods LLP and Connie Brenton of Netapp
  • Technology Support Professional - Jennifer Cuenot of Shearman & Sterling LLP
  • Leadership - Daniel Nottke of Kirkland & Ellis
  • Young Professional - Peter Qumsiyeh of WilmerHale

Organization Awards: Individual and team excellence within ILTA member law firms and law departments are recognized by the organization awards. The 2015 award recipients are:

  • Innovative Law Firm of the Year - Davis Wright Tremaine LLP
  • Innovative Project of the Year - Corrs Chambers Westgarth
  • Innovative Law Department of the Year - Google, Inc.

Vendor Awards: The vendors and consultants who provide products and services to the legal community are recognized for superior achievements in innovation and thought-leadership. The 2015 award recipients are:

  • Innovative Vendor Thought Leader - Dan Bressler of Intapp
  • Innovative Solution Provider - Litéra Corp.
  • Innovative Consultant of the Year - Pratik Patel of Elevate Services, Inc.
