Recommind Enables eDiscovery in the Cloud for Content on Box
Global News

Recommind logoRecommind, a leader in information intelligence, today announced that Axcelerate, its leading eDiscovery review and analysis platform, now works seamlessly with Box’s cloud content management services. Customers can now apply all of Axcelerate's advanced features for eDiscovery, data management and analytics to data stored on Box.

“The practice of information governance, including eDiscovery, is undergoing a massive shift as more and more businesses move to the cloud to manage and access their enterprise information,” said Justin Somaini, Chief Trust Officer at Box. “Box and Recommind will work together to ensure that enterprises can implement cost-effective and defensible eDiscovery processes that are simple and fast because of a deep integration that supports efficient collection, processing and review."

Axcelerate is used by organisations—including law firms and corporate legal departments—to handle eDiscovery, data management, analytics and information governance. This new integration with Box enables organisations to collect, analyse and review information stored on the cloud storage platform when preparing for litigation reviews or investigations.

Through a new custom-built connector, Axcelerate is able to automatically crawl through and index data stored on Box, and then aggregate that data with other on-premise or cloud-based sources. Axcelerate’s Early Case Assessment (ECA) capabilities eliminate duplicate data and prompt intelligent culling. Data is then transferred to Axcelerate for deeper analysis and more efficient, cost-effective and secure legal review.

“Our integration with Box reflects the massive trend in the enterprise to leverage cloud-based storage and collaboration solutions,” said Bob Tennant, CEO, Recommind. “We are pleased to offer organisations with cloud-based information the ability to utilise Recommind's industry-leading machine learning and analytics for eDiscovery.”
