Word VBA Developer (UK, London)

Description: Expert VBA/Office (Word) Developer required to work on the redevelopment of Office Suite Add-ins and template control management system platforms:

• The OSA development is intended to provide extension and customisation of the functionality offered by the Microsoft Office suite of products to allow users to easily produce documents, spreadsheets and presentations that are stable, well formatted and consistent with A&O branding.
• TCMS is the system used to centrally store and distribute variable data, templates and some graphics.

Key skills:

• VBA development skills essential
• Templates and styles development skills
• Microsoft Office 2010
• Building of content controls
• Working knowledge of bookmarks and autotexts/building blocks in Word
• XML editing would be desirable

Experience required:

• Proven legal sector document development in templates and styles.
• Experience of large scale Office 2007 and/or 2010 deployment (preferably globally) desirable.
• Experience working within the professional services sector with an appreciation of the demands of a project based delivery environment.
• Understanding of Agile project delivery practices desirable.
