Law Firm IT Business Analyst (UK, Manchester)

Description: Our client is a nationwide Law Firm with offices in 9 regions throughout the UK. The company is now looking to recruit a Business Analyst for a 6 month fixed term contract.

The position will pay a salary based on an annual salary of circa £35k to £40k depending on experience. The individual MUST come from a Legal IT background.

The role is within a Legal IT environment, where the main purpose of the role is to communicate and interpret the business needs and write detailed scoping documents to be developed by the IT Development Team. The main purpose of the IT Development Team is to write, support and enhance applications within a law firm.

These applications include case management software, management information reporting (web based and thick client), dashboards and other applications. You will be responsible for analysing user and business requirements; to act as a specialist of the bespoke software applications; and to be the interface with the client users to define client business.

This varied role will require a candidate who has strong attention to detail and analysis skills, with the ability to translate requirements within a legal environment. This position is advertised as a 6 month contract and will pay a salary based on £35k to £40k per annum based on experience. The position is to start immediately.
