Description: Picture More has been engaged by a successful law firm to help recruit an IT Support Manager / IT Customer Services Manager. Responsibilities will cover management of an 8-strong team who provide IT support (1st and 2nd line) and training to several hundred users across 3 sites. This covers recruitment, appraisals, work allocation and motivation for the team. The postholder will also be responsible for IT relationship management with the business - maintaining communication regarding service performance, planned outages and any forthcoming projects. The successful candidate will have the technical ability and willingness to roll up their sleeves and cover training sessions or help the support teams during busy periods or to cover sickness, though this is not a major part of the role. Strong communication skills (oral and written) are essential, as is an ability to interact with staff at all levels and to present information to senior staff when required. A background in a professional services environment (particularly within a partnership structure) will be a big advantage, so candidates with legal sector or accountancy practice experience are encouraged to apply. The role is based in Basingstoke, with regular trips to the London office. Skills/experience:
