Desktop Applications / Application Support Specialist (UK, London)

Description: Picture More is working with a leading international law firm to find a 2nd / 3rd line legal desktop application support analyst who will provide 2nd / 3rd line support to all legal applications within the firm.

Further to the operational support duties, the postholder will have input into the selection and implementation of new applications, upgrades etc.

The successful candidate will need to have had exposure to legal applications such as document management systems, document production software, document comparison software, time recording software etc (Worksite, FileSite, Workshare / Deltaview, Copitrak, Carpe Diem etc).

• Where appropriate, attend user groups independently or with senior managers and make recommendations of how improvements can be made.
• Act as a technical lead in team planning, coordination and mentoring, as well as overcoming barriers (internal and external).
• Evaluate new products/applications deemed to be appropriate to the Firm's business
• Make recommendations to improve the use of all Firm applications
• Ensure preventative maintenance in your field of expertise is regularly planned and implemented.
