Business Analyst - Legal Technology Document Management (UK, London)

Description: Our client provides Document Production and Template Management Consultancy to Law Firms and professional services organisations in both the UK and USA.

The company due to continued growth is now looking for a business analyst who will join there team and be able to produce and deliver quality documentation and translate requirements from the clients into specifications for developers. You as an individual should be able to communicate at all levels as this is very much a client facing role.

Essential requirements for this role is full understanding and experience with Microsoft Word 2003 through to 2010 as this is a company that deals in document production and templates. You will be working with clients to analyse their document production processes and define how the company products and services can best be used to return measurable business value, including; on-site liaison with clients to understand their environments, running workshops to define user requirements and liaison with decision makers to define the business requirements.

Other skills and experience required:

  • A high level of proficiency in working with fee-paying clients, using experience gained through working in a customer facing role, providing high levels of customer service, maintaining good and effective working relationships, managing expectations and delivering against promises.
  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office - 2003 through to 2010
  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems - Windows XP through to Windows 7
  • A high level of proficiency in developing detailed technical specifications based on business requirements
  • A high level of proficiency in defining project plans, setting up normal project management and controls and delivering projects to plan
This position will require work at client sites predominantly Law Firms. The salary is relatively open in the region of £40,000 to £55,000. Knowledge of the Legal sector would be a great advantage.
