Workshare Appoints David Rowley Vice President, Business Development



Workshare logoWorkshare, a leading provider of document collaboration software, announced today that it has named David Rowley as Vice President, Business Development. Rowley will be responsible for worldwide business development, including strategic partnerships, OEM licensing, evangelizing Workshare's industry-leading solutions and expanding its leadership into new market segments, including mobile and cloud.

Rowley has a long history of experience in business development for tech companies, including high level positions with Macrovision where he more than doubled the Asia-Pacific operations from $25M a year to $55M within a two-year period. He also led business and corporate development for Macrovision, including the successful acquisition and integration of several technology providers.

Immediately prior to his new appointment with Workshare Rowley was a principal in a consulting firm specializing in business and corporate development counsel to early stage tech companies. He also co-founded and was CEO of one of the first SaaS image sharing companies with funding from US Venture Partners and Softbank.
