Tikit’s new CRM, the game-changer for Law Firms

Tikit logoTikit Group today launches Tikit ClientConnect, its new marketing and Client Relationship Management (CRM) system for law firms.

Comprising contact management, business development, sales and marketing support, reporting and e-marketing, Tikit ClientConnect has been described as a game-changer for law firms.

It combines professional standard, firm-wide marketing and CRM functionality with a low cost of ownership and ease of implementation.

Designed for law firms by legal IT specialists, Tikit ClientConnect builds upon Tikit’s 16 years plus experience of CRM implementation and support to deliver a system that is both quick to deliver, easy to use and offers low cost of ownership. For most firms the implementation process, from installation to go-live, should take less than a third of the time taken for a traditional CRM system and, therefore, the cost is substantially reduced. As for training, anyone who can use Microsoft Outlook can also use Tikit ClientConnect. In fact, the entire application, including the e-marketing element, appears as just another part of Outlook for each user.

Although primarily designed for SME law firms that have previously not implemented CRM systems because of their complexity and price, the system will also appeal to larger firms, looking for an alternative to their existing platform. In particular, a full audit trail removes the need for elaborate data change management processes (as well as the additional cost of employing data stewards) while the Outlook interface means individuals only need be added to the system once before their data can be shared across Tikit ClientConnect. The familiar interface also supports standard Outlook searches across the database, thereby providing a, who-knows-who facility, as well as a quick and convenient way to access all client and matter data.

Commenting on the launch of Tikit ClientConnect, David Lumsden, Chief Executive of Tikit, said: “Given the commercial pressures all law firms now face, the challenge of finding, winning, tracking and keeping new clients has become critical to their longer-term success. With Tikit ClientConnect, we believe we are introducing new technology that brings world-class software to a section of the legal market that has previously struggled to find suitable, cost effective legal CRM and e-marketing solutions.”

Tikit ClientConnect is the latest addition to Tikit’s growing portfolio of in-house-developed software applications for the UK and international legal markets. The new system has been built entirely within Microsoft Outlook (versions 2007 and above) with an underlying Microsoft SQL Server database.

Tikit ClientConnect is available in the UK as well as North American, Continental European and the Australian markets through Tikit subsidiaries and channel partners. Tikit ClientConnect will also be showcased at ILTA in Nashville, United States, in August 2011.
