RenewData® Accelerates Document Review with DART™

RenewData logoUnique workflow combined with kCura® Relativity® bulk tags and audits reviewers' decisions during document review

RenewData®, a leading provider of Relativity®, review acceleration, and media restoration solutions, today announced the launch of DART™ (Defensible Auditable Review Tagger).

Used exclusively with kCura’s® popular review platform Relativity, DART, offered at no additional charge to clients using RenewData to host their Relativity reviews, helps attorneys expedite the analysis of data to allow for quicker and more informed legal and business decisions.

DART, powered by RenewData’s patent-pending Vestigate® technology, captures language that a human reviewer determines is relevant and bulk tags all other documents in the collection with the same language. As a one-of-a-kind front-end to the Relativity platform, it provides greater transparency into first-pass review. Case managers can audit the decisions made by document reviewers in real time and bulk tag selected language. This ability accelerates second-pass review by showing the reviewer exactly why the document has been selected and provides a granular organization of relevant documents for subsequent review efficiencies. In addition, DART’s electronic highlighter allows for the work product to be reused for other issues within a case, as well as other like cases.

“Due to the staggering amount of data and ever-expanding sources for it, document review demands new, efficient and streamlined solutions,” said Rich Cohen, president of RenewData. “DART combines the intelligence of human review, our proprietary Vestigate technology and the power of Relativity to create an accurate expedited document review with auditability of reviewer decisions. The end result is a thorough, transparent and defensible review process completed within a fraction of the time usually needed, all at no additional cost to those clients that host their Relativity reviews with RenewData.”

RenewData has developed a deep aptitude for understanding the meaning of unstructured data throughout the course of its 10-year existence. With more than 140 petabytes of information analyzed, representing billions of documents, the company’s legal and technology experts have worked with some of the largest and most demanding organizations of the world.

“When hiring a service provider to host a review platform, it is key to have someone who knows the tool well enough to advise you on best practices and support any issues you encounter during the review,” said Julie Brown, litigation technology manager at Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP. “RenewData’s hosted application support has been outstanding!”

DART is available immediately. To learn more about the DART workflow and how RenewData, one of the leading providers of Relativity, can help you accelerate review and lower your overall eDiscovery costs, visit the company at booth #412 during LegalTech or go to www.renewdata.com/dart.
