Integreon Opens State-of-the-Art Electronic Evidence Lab in Downtown Los Angeles

Integreon, the largest global provider of integrated research, legal and business solutions to professionals, today announced that it has opened a new, full-scale electronic evidence lab in downtown Los Angeles. The lab extends the company’s capabilities to assist law firms, corporations and government agencies with the challenges associated with finding, preserving and analyzing digital evidence for regulatory investigations and litigation matters.

Integreon’s new Los Angeles electronic evidence lab complements the company’s existing facilities in Washington, D.C. and New York with support for clients in the U.S. West Coast and Pacific Rim regions. The state-of-the art L.A. lab increases Integreon’s total high-speed data storage capacity for e-discovery and expands the company’s already extensive foreign language support for document review with additional foreign language expertise in digital forensics.

“The new L.A. lab provides our West Coast and Pacific Rim clients with more rapid response times when we’re deploying resources to client sites and at a lower cost than is currently possible from our East Coast facilities,” said Jeff Fehrman, Integreon’s vice president of forensics and consulting. “By establishing a West Coast presence, we continue to reinforce our capabilities as a ‘follow-the-sun’ organization that can meet the immediate needs of any client.”

Integreon’s electronic evidence labs provides global data collection and preservation, digital forensic analysis, including cell phone forensics, website capture, password recovery, tape indexing and restoration, and secure data storage and archiving. To ensure the highest level of data protection and uphold the defensibility of its clients’ electronically stored information (ESI), Integreon’s labs employ multiple physical and electronic security measures, including biometric keycards, 24-hour video surveillance and a closed internal network.

Integreon has also broadened the core e-discovery expertise in its digital forensics labs through the appointment of experienced digital forensic experts. The company has selected Cecil Payne, a 15-year industry veteran, to head its Washington, D.C. lab as director of digital forensics; promoted Alex Ramirez to senior forensic consultant in the New York lab; and appointed Gwen Dang as head of the new Los Angeles facility. Payne brings extensive hands-on experience to the forensic team, specializing in digital evidence acquisition, preservation, analysis, data recovery, e-mail extraction and database examinations. Ramirez brings nearly a decade of experience, with specialties in computer and mobile forensics, criminal investigations and data analysis, and Dang brings 12 years of experience, with expertise in e-mail capture and conversion, hardware imaging and IT infrastructure development.

“A key component of our services is our forensic expertise,” said Fehrman. “At a time when the complexity of defensibly analyzing, maintaining and managing evidence has never been higher, our experts bring unparalleled skill to our clients, strengthening our commitment to maintain the top level of forensic prowess essential to meet our clients’ investigation and litigation-support needs.”

The Integreon forensic evidence team upholds the highest quality control measures, adhering to the strict standards of the National Institute of Justice for preserving authenticity and integrity of evidence. In addition, Integreon’s certifications include: ISO/IEC Certified Information Security, ISO Certified Quality Management, US-EU & US-Swiss Safe Harbor Certification and Clearwell Gold Partner. Integreon forensic experts are certified in EnCase Certified Examiner (EnCE), Certified Computer Examiner (CCE), AccessData Certified Examiner (ACE), Security+, and many others.
